Leigh has been dancing since she was able to walk. She was trained at Preston Center Dance in Dallas, Texas. She was a two-year lieutenant on the Highland Belles drill team at Highland Park High School. She became a member of the Texas Pom Squad at the University of Texas where she was named Rookie of the Year in her first season on the team. Since graduation, she has choreographed competition jazz, pom, and hip hop routines.
